LGC host successful Greensome and Family Fun Day

More than 300 persons visited the Lusignan Golf Club and close to 50 persons were involved in the Greensome golfing competition. The visitors thoroughly enjoyed themselves on the Course, most of them actively participating in either viewing or playing, especially putting.
The two persons (one golfer and one newbie) best ball Greensome was a thrilling affair with family involvement, as could be seen with father and son and father and daughter combinations being the first two of the four prize winning teams.
All four teams tied for the low net of 27 and it required a count-back to determine the placements. Hilbert [father] and Danny [son] Shields took first place, Lakeram Ramsundar and his daughter (playing for the first time) took second place, Aasrodeen Shaw and his caddy Chandra took third while Aleem Hussain and his caddy Dezo took fourth place as well as the Nearest to The Pin prize.
Donating the prizes were Tons of Fun, Patrick Prasad, Ganesh Parts, Assuria, Caricom Insurance, Guyana Beverages, Party Castle and Kissoon’s Furniture. The public is being encouraged to visit the LGC to witness tournaments free of cost, starting time is from 12:30hrs on Saturdays.
