As the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) opened yesterday, bids were announced for a hundred million project at Windsor Forest, West Coast Demerara, Region Three and at DeWillem, West Coast Demerara, Region Three.
The bid was for the procurement of work- Lot1 for the construction of rip rap Sea Defense at Windsor Forest, West Coast Demerara, Region Three and Lot2, the construction of Rip rap Sea Defense at DeWillem, West Coast Demerara, Region Three, Phase One. This was one of the three projects that the Ministry of Public infrastructure received bids for.
The Public Infrastructure Ministry also received bids for the supply and delivery of rock materials for sea and river defence works in two lots. Lot1, the supply and delivery of Gabion Stones and Lot2, the supply and delivery of boulders.
The last project that received bids by the Infrastructure Ministry was for the supply of lighting for Kuru-Kururu, Soesdyke/Linden Highway.
Bids were received by the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation for the rehabilitation of doctors’ quarters, North Block.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of the Presidency received bids for the rehabilitation, modification and addition to the existing residence, building four, to facilitate four proposed syndicate rooms at the Ogle Estate Complex, East Coast Demerara.
The Ministry of the Presidency also received bids for the construction of a Linden Immigration Office in Independence Avenue, Linden, Region 10.
Receiving bids for four projects yesterday was the Ministry of Public Health. Bids were firstly received for the procurement of consumables in 10 lots as seen.
Bids were received for the further procurement of consumables by the Ministry of Public Health.
The last bid received by the Ministry of Public Health was for supply and delivery of anti-malarial medicines.
The Ministry of Public Health, Maternal Child Health Department received bids also for the supply and delivery of office furniture.
Bids were obtained also by the Ministry of Communities for the supply and delivery of two reconditioned wagon cars.
Meanwhile, Office of the Elections Commission obtained bids for the procurement of uniform materials.
Meanwhile, bids were received for the supply of resource kits for the Hinterland Employment and Youth Service (HEYS) programme of personal protective equipment and other items by the Ministry of Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs.
Bids were received for the supply of resource kits for the HEYS programme, which includes catering, hospitality appliances and other items.
The Ministry of Indigenous Peoples Affairs also received bids for the supply of resource kits for the HEYS programme for garment construction equipment and other items.
Meanwhile, bids were received for the supply of resource kits for the HEYS programme, Eco-Tourism and Adventure Equipment.
Bids were also received by the Ministry of Indigenous People Affairs for the supply of resource kits for the HEYS Programme, which includes agricultural, mechanical, masonry, carpentry, joinery and other tools and equipment.
