Since being posted to the Berbice ‘B’ Division as Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Paul Williams, has been taking a number of initiatives. He had also been conducting a number of outreaches across the division.
Recently, he and a team met with members of the Berbice Chamber of Commerce and Development Association (BCCDA) in their office at Chapel Street, New Amsterdam. The main thrust of the meeting was to hold discussions as these relate to the Police Force ‘B’ Division and the business sector. The meeting also outlined security plans for the Region.
During the engagement the Commander took the opportunity to engage the members of the Chamber in lively and fruitful discussions on security matters. They also exchange views on how the two organisations could work for the betterment of the citizens and town.
The Commander also did a security power point presentation and outlined his plans for the Division. The members’ paid rapt attention to the well put together presentation and was appreciative to the plans outlined. They also pledged their full support to the Police.
