Guyoil win Trophy Stall inter ministries dominoes
Guyoil chalked 90 games to win the final of the Trophy Stall inter ministries dominoes competition which was contested recently at Ministry of Agriculture canteen.
GPHC placed second with 68 games, while Forestry Commission finished third on 60. Bhojnarine Paltoo of Guyoil was the MVP with the maximum 18 games. Guyoil pocketed a trophy and $25,000, while each member received a medal. GPHC took home a trophy and $15,000.
Nine teams took part in the competition. Teams will meet again at the said venue on April 7 for the next tournament.
Meanwhile, the Foreign Ministry Tapeball competition, which was set for Durban Park, will now be played on April 2 at the National Cultural Centre tarmac at 09:00hrs. At stake are trophies, medals and cash prizes for the top three teams. Entries will be closed on March 29 and teams can contact James Lewis on 628 -1656 or 672 – 6179 for more information.
