The NPG Packaging and Plastic Incorporated T20 cricket competition in the Upper Corentyne/Black Bush area has reached the quarter final stage of the competition with No. 48 Challengers, No. 70A, No. 72 All Stars and No. 70
M.Y.O being the zone winners in the preliminary rounds. The other teams to reach the quarter finals are No. 69 Vikings, Yakusari Caribs, Skeldon and for the final spot the UCCA is reviewing a protest between No. 71 and Corriverton which will be made in time for the match.
The fixtures will see in quarter final 1: No. 48 Challengers vs. Skeldon at No. 48, Quarter final 2: No. 70 M.Y.O vs. Yakusari Caribs at No. 70 M.Y.O ground, Quarter final 3: No. 70 A vs. (either No. 71 or Corriverton) at No. 70 and quarter final 4: No. 72 All Star vs. No. 69 Vikings at No. 72. All matches will start at 13:00hrs.
The semi finals will be played on November 6 at a venue to be announced with the winner of quarter final 1 playing the winner of quarter final 4 in semi final 1 and the winner of quarter final 2 versus the winner of quarter final 3 in semi final 2.
