Dear Editor;
Please let me try to express the magnitude of my disappointment and frustration. For the second time in a short while, the Mayor’s office is responsible for the circulation of a petition for the removal of the REO of Region 9.
There is so much to be done for this region, but this is how the Mayor and his councillors feel that their time is best spent.
The actions of his office are unacceptable. What about the deplorable condition of the roads? How about you lobbying for the roads to be given priority instead of the Kupokari bridge?
What about a proper garbage disposal system? What about our passport office? What about our business registration office? How about getting these animals off the streets of our Town? What about the rest of street lights?
There is so much that needs your attention sir and this is what you and your councillors spend your time doing? All of this is exactly what the opposition wants to prove to the people that this administration is no better than the last and that is ammunition for them to win the next elections.
Where is your humility? Where is your team spirit? Where is your sense of responsibility and commitment to the people of this Town and your party?
This is unacceptable. Mr. Carlton Beckles; you are not deserving of the office you so have and I appeal to you sir, be the bigger person and resign immediately.
Were I a senior member of this party, I would see you as a liability and not an asset.
A liability that will be the dutty that is helping to build up a whole dam that will prevent the free flow of young voters from putting their X next to the KEY OR PALM TREE in the next election!
