Everest CC congratulates Hemraj, Chanderpaul, Khan and Persaud on outstanding performances
The Everest Cricket Club had extended congratulations to Chanderpaul Hemraj, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Amir Khan and Akshaya Persaud on their outstanding performances in the current Guyana Cricket Board Jaguars three-day League.
Hemraj struck a double century against Essequibo at Imam Bacchus ground, Chanderpaul made a century versus Georgetown at Lusignan, while Khan had a five-wicket haul earlier in the tournament and Persaud scored a century against Lower Corentyne at Tuschen.
A release from the club stated that the players’ success is a result of their hard work, commitment and discipline and it will serve as a motivation to the younger players. The club would like to wish the players well in the remaining matches of the competition.
