Contractors vie to drill potable wells at Diamond, Sophia

During yesterday’s session of the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), bidders vied for a contract to drill potable water wells at two locations, Diamond (East Bank Demerara) and Sophia, (East Coast Demerara), Region number four.
The project, which is under the Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI), was divided into two lots. The engineer’s estimate for lot one was $90.9M, while the estimate for lot two was $79.2M.
