NEW AMSTERDAM TOP KARATE INSTRUCTOR AWARDED 6TH DEGREE BLACK BELT

9th Dan Shuseki Shihan Frank Woon-A-Tai, Founder of the International Karate Daigaku, awarded Mr. Clinton Orville Moriah of the New Amsterdam Shotokan karate Dojo 6th Dan Black Belt at the YMCA Thomas Lands on Sunday 10th July, 2016 last.
He was assisted by his wife and IKD Vice –Chairperson 8th Dan Shihan Maureen Woon-A-Tai, IKD Secretary 7th Dan Shihan Bernice Hughes, 6th Dan Sensei Janice Pike, 6th Dan Amir Khouri & 4th Dan Sensei Roger Peroune.
94 students of the Association do Shotokan Karate-Guyana dojo’s -Georgetown, New Amsterdam, Albion, Blairmont, Land of Canaan, Canal #1& Linden were graded by Shuseki Shihan Woon-a-tai.

Shihan Maureen Woon-a-Tai presented the successful Dan students of the 10th April, 2016 with their instruments of Dan ranks.
Congratulations to all the students who worked hard to become successful, under the instructions and guidance of Instructors: Amir Khouri & Roger Peroune (YMCA), Clinton Moriah (New Amsterdam), Hazrat Ali (Albion & Blairmont), Laurence Lowe (GKF), Parmeshwar Persaud (Land of Canaan), Mahadeo Ramotar (GFK), Nathalie Gibson (Linden).
Shuseki Shihan Woon-A-Tai will be holding special Brown &Black Belts and Instructors training session on Wednesday July 13th (GKC) & Thursday July 14th (YMCA), 2016 from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm.
These training seminars are to prepare Black Belts for their Instructors Certification Examinations.
