La Jalousie man killed in road accident
A 52 year old man West Coast Demerara man was added to the country’s growing road fatality list after he was struck down on the La Jalousie Public Road on Saturday night.
Police reports stated that at around 21:30 hours on Saturday Mohendra Bisnauth of La Jalousie, West Coast Demerara was attempting to cross the road and was struck down by a motor vehicle.
His lifeless body was picked up and taken to the West Demerara Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The driver of the motor vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
