F and H and Specialist are leading the Guyanese challenge as teams continue to battle for supremacy in the second annual Faye Joseph international dominoes competition which is being run under the auspices of the Georgetown Dominoes Association at Gaulding Place, South Ruimveldt.
F and H and Specialist have secured their places in the quarterfinals while other local teams such as TNT, Rage and Unity have also secured theirs as action continued on Saturday night.
Meanwhile, players continued to battle for individual honours in the king and queen segment with nine of the 27 players entered going through to the next round. The finals will be played tonight and the winning team will receive US$5,000 while the runner up, third and fourth place teams will pocket US$2,500, US$1,500 and US$1,000.
