Tonight the Raiders go after another win in their penultimate game against Jets at 9.00pm but that game will see at 7.00pm a clash between Half Mile Bulls, who have won their four matches so far and are favoured to hand the Falcons who could face their fifth loss but needs to show up after handing the Jets a walkover win in their last scheduled game.
With no real hope of reaching the last four the Falcons may think of upsetting the Bulls but are the rank underdogs in this game.
In the most recent results, the Raiders must credit themselves for holding their nerves in the final strait against a determined Royals side which had knotted the scores at 45 before the Raiders, with all their experience came away with a tough 49-46 win. The night before Royals triumphed past Block 22 Flames scoring a solid 53-37 win as Rodney led the score sheet with 16 and Adams got 14 with Nevin Glen 11. Rawle Williams was the best player for Flames getting eight points. The second game was not played as the Falcons gave the game Wednesday night to the Jets via a walk route.
Tonight’s encounters will determine the naming the four teams advancing and the battle will be for the top positions and how they will meet in the semifinals after next Wednesday night’s last encounter between Raiders and the Bulls.
