Fire is not you companion. When it tun pun you is a bad thing although dem got people who does set demself on fire because dem vex. But dem same people, if dem did get a dose of what dem Mahaicony bandits get, woulda run like a bat out of hell from de fire.
And dem same bandits who does mek people believe that dem ain’t got no regard fuh dem life and limb suddenly can’t tek it when dem life at stake.
Dem boys seh that after de robbery and de bandits run in de bush, de Mahaicony people decide that dem gun enjoy a bit of bar-b-cue. Dem refuse to sleep and still de bandits wouldn’t come out so as soon as day break de people decide to start de bar-b-cue.
Dem same bandits who does beat and shoot people suddenly realize that life sweet. Dem refuse to be cooked.
And dem is de same people who does behave as though dem don’t care bout nutten. One of dem know that police looking for him fuh a murder because he kill a woman but he show that he ain’t got limit. He go to kill another person; he shoot at a policeman; he rob plenty business place and he go pun a robbery at Mahaicony.
He is not de only bareface one. One of dem know that he got he tail expose and he beating woman. This is de woman he sleeping wid, de one who cooking for him and trying to keep him clean. But he decide to beat she.
Dem boys seh that knock got knock back. De woman go to de police and mek a report. Then she carry de police home wheh she live and show dem de bullet that de beat man hide. He tail in pickle.
When you know you in trouble stay in you corner. De nation don’t hear bout nuff people because dem know dem in trouble and dem staying in dem corner.
But another thing. People who going pun crime spree know that dem getting ketch and still others don’t done. Surely dem don’t want de cruelty to comeback.
Talk half and hope that dem criminals try to find an honest job.
