In recognition of 100 years since the laying of the cornerstone of the Brickdam Cathedral, a grand concert is to be held at the National Cultural Centre on October 14.
The show which is expected to last for about two and a half hours is scheduled to start at 19: 00 hrs. The Guyana Police Force Military Band, the Woodside Choir, the Circle of Love and the Bank of Guyana Choir are some of the acts slated to perform for the auspicious event.
There will also be dances from the National Dance Company and the Indian Culture Centre Dancers Group.
Tickets are being sold at $500, $800 and $1000 and can be had at all Roman Catholic Parishes, Nigel’s Supermarket, Ashmins and Shoe Source.
