HBFC Inter-Ward tapeball cricket set for Saturday
The Holy Bible Family Club (HBFC) will be hosting their annual inter-ward schoolboys tapeball competition on Saturday at the National Cultural Centre tarmac from 08:30 hrs.
This year’s competition has been dubbed ‘lets play tapeball cricket for Jesus’ and among the teams that have entered so far are Sophia, Cummings Lodge, Better Hope, Good Hope, Friendship, Covent Garden and West Dem Glory.
For more information teams can contact Colin Jacobs on 628-1656. At stake are trophies, medals and cash incentives sponsored by Trophy Stall and the churches.
There would also be a reading competition for the players during the matches.
