Guyanese have home-court advantage

Guyana’s senior male basketball team bounces into action against Bermuda, which is regarded as one of the top teams in the Caribbean Basketball Confederation (CBC) block, tonight at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, in the feature of two games scheduled.
Following their fifth place finish at the CBC Championships in the British Virgin Island, Tortola last year, Guyana looks to continue its ascendency in the sport region against a team that boasts a talented roster from tonight in the first of three games.
Kaieteur Sport presents some of the players, who will be wearing Guyana’s colours at the indoor venue tonight is what is expected to be a massive showdown. The International Series forms part of Guyana’s preparation for CBC 2015 scheduled for June.
The other members of Guyana’s National Basketball Team are Jermaine Slater (Forward, Dyna’s Ravens), Terron Welch (Guard, Half Mile Bulls, Linden), Dave Causway (Guard, Colts United), Jason Squires (Guard, Pepsi Sonics) and Dominique Vincente (Guard, Dyna’s Ravens.
