Backed by ExxonMobil Guyana, the tournament is intended to expand competitive opportunities for young footballers while establishing a pathway from school football into academy, club and senior-level competition.
The initiative has also received support from the Guyana Football Federation, the Ministry of Education’s Allied Arts Unit and the National Sports Commission, with talent identification forming an important component of the programme.
