It was a sad day when a car carrying a teacher and six students plunged overboard. Indeed, this was foretold but not in detail. There was talk about the car accident. It is always sad when young lives are lost and for that there can be no apology or comfort.
Thankfully, the next accident would not be so deadly. Yet one wonders what must be done to curb them.

There is going to be another shocker in the form of sex with an underage girl. The perpetrator would be a respected member of the family circle. The police would be prepared to deal condignly given the publicity, but the family under pressure from the community would hesitate.
However, this is not going to be swept under the rug.

An inebriated reveler would put a damper on the float parade when he collapses near to a float.  The headlines would keep coming.
