Ninvalle for AMBC meeting in Argentina
National Federation meeting of the Americas Boxing Confederation (AMBC). That meeting is fixed for April 9 in the Argentine capital and would be the first for the Confederation since its new president was elected.
Ninvalle was elected an AIBA Executive Committee Member at the most recent congress held in South Korea last November which made him an automatic member of the AMBC executive. The April meeting would be chaired by recently elected AMBC president Osvaldo Bisbal who was also elected in South Korea.
AMBC was founded in an Extraordinary Assembly held in the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil, on January 31, 2009. It resulted from a merger of the Confederation of Pan American Boxing and the American Bureau of AIBA, according to AIBA’s new policy of recognizing only one organization per continent.
AMBC is made up of 41 countries in North America, Central America, South America and the Caribbean.
