There seems no end to the madness. There are simply too many guns around, so every idiot feels that it is appropriate to reach for a gun at the slightest opportunity. The result is that a policeman will be shot at a night spot when an irate patron who has an illegal weapon will not hesitate to use it.
As things go, he will be arrested and will actually deny shooting anyone. But then again, no one admits to a wrongdoing.

A pedestrian is going to be the next road fatality. A speeding car is going to be overtaking a slow-moving vehicle without exercising due care and caution.
The courts are too lenient at this time, so a movement is going to push for vehicular homicide to replace the now outdated causing death charge.

Armed robberies occur with amazing regularity. A gunman is going to attack a car in which a woman who had just left a commercial bank would be travelling.
The attack would not result in any fatality, but the gunman is not going to escape.
