Ready Mix Concrete onboard GMR&SC Race Meet
Ready Mix Concrete Ltd became the latest corporate entity to support this weekend’s Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club ‘Race of Champions’ Meet scheduled to be staged Sunday, at the South Dakota Circuit.
Race Secretary Desiree Lee receives the sponsorship cheque from Ready Mix Concrete Ltd representative Imran Khan recently.
Recently, during a simple ceremony which was conducted at the GMR&SC Head Office on Albert Street, sponsor representative Imran Khan handed over a cheque for an undisclosed sum to Club Supervisor / Race Secretary Desiree Lee.
Lee in response thanked the Company on behalf of the Club for its support towards the sport, adding that the assistance will aid in the development of motor racing. Lee disclosed that 24 races are carded for the day and competitors will line up in all the different categories in what is already being touted to be a day of keen rivalry among the best in the business.
The first race is set to begin at 09:00hrs with the lineup of competitors set for 08:30hrs.
