National Amateur Intermediate boxing tourney to be staged this weekend
The National Intermediate Amateur Boxing tournament, one of the key events put on by the Guyana Boxing Association (GBA), will be staged this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, at California Square at East Ruimveldt.
President of GBA, Steve Ninvalle, informed that the event will be held this weekend following the postponement due to the inclement weather.
This is the second outing of recent for a tournament at the East Ruimveldt venue following the National Novices, earlier in the year.
A total of seven gyms from around the country will compete in the action. Carryl gym of Linden will be making a welcome return to action in this weekend’s activity.
