Brothers Dominoes team 20/20 two-in, one-out tournament will be contested on Sunday at Whitie Bar, Best Road, Vreed-en-Hoop, West Coast Demerara. Entrance fee is $10,000 and the winning team will pocket a trophy and $90,000, the runner up $40,000 and third place $20,000. Among the teams slated to take part are TNT, Rage, Mix Up, Spartons and Specialist. Action gets underway at 14:00hrs.
East Coast, West Demerara and Georgetown will battle in the feature match from 15:00hrs, entrance fee is $15,000.
Meanwhile, TNT chalked up 81 games to win the Camptown FC 40th anniversary tournament which was played recently at Camptown Community Centre, First Street, Campbellville. Spartons placed second with 79 games and Fire Service third on 58.
Trevor Smith made the maximum 18 games while Shawn Morgan supported with 12 for the winners. Ron Calendar scored 16 and Colin Samaroo 15 for Spartons while Oliver Patterson marked 17 and Deon Barnwell 15 for Fire Service.
TNT won the semi final match with 71 games ahead of Fire Service 66 and Camptown 58. Morgan made 16 and Sonia Goodluck 13 for TNT; Barnwell and Kevin Barker registered 16 each for Fire Service and Campton respectively.
TNT pocketed a trophy and $60,000, Spartons a trophy and $40,000 and Fire Service a trophy and $20,000.
