The court heard that in October last year, Nicholas went to the establishment located on Robb Street, Georgetown and presented the form to the Sergeant. When it was discovered that the document was forged, the accused was arrested and charged with the offence.
Nicholas’ lawyer, Patrice Henry, told the court that his client, who has had no previous conviction, served the Guyana Police Force for thirteen years. He urged the court to consider reasonable bail for the woman.
