GFF releases pool of locally-based players to commence training

The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) guided by its Technical Development Committee recently released the names of fifty (50) locally-based players to commence training for impending national duty.

The release added that the list of players does not include those who are residing abroad and who are eligible to represent Guyana on international duty.

President of the Federation Christopher Matthias speaking with Kaieteur Sport via telephone yesterday disclosed that the list of players will commence preparations for Guyana’s participation in the 2016 Olympic qualifiers, the 2018 World Cup and all other international engagements.
