advertisement that appeared in the Sunday, January 05 Kaieteur News publication that purports to solicit support for Harold ‘Topgun’ Hopkinson for President of the Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club (GMR&SC), at its next Annual General Meeting.
King, who has been an integral part of the sport for over three decades, speaking with this newspaper, was adamant that he is in no way associated with the content of the ad or its intention.
The ad which was published on Page 28 in yesterday’s edition showed him pictured with Hopkinson and two other members purported to be part of Team Alpha.
