Praimwatty Ramcharran, a/k”Gladys, 72, the mother of Zorg burn victim, Tameshwarie Narharry, a/k” Shantie, died sixteen days after her daugther’s demise. She reportedly suffered a heart attack on Saturday.
Doctors at the Suddie Public Hospital confirmed the prognosis which resulted in Ramcharran’s death.
Saywattie Persaud, a sister said that her mother became consumed by grief over her daughter, Shantie’s death and eventually suffered a heart attack and died.
Persaud lost her mother 16 days after losing her sister, Shantie, who suffered first degree burns about her body, after her now dead common-law husband, Patrick Seepaul, doused her with gasoline before setting her alight.
Narharry’s rented house was also destroyed in the fire. In the wake of the killing and the arson, Seepaul took his own life. A farmer discovered his body under a mango tree, after he had consumed a poisonous substance.
Seepaul and Narharry lived together at Zorg for less than a year. Persaud, Narharry’s sister said that Seepaul originally was from Berbice but that he lived and worked with some people from Vilvordeen.
