BCB calls up 32 for three-day Inter County trial match starting today at Albion
The Selection Committee of the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) has called up thirty-two players for a three-day trial match which is aimed at identifying the Berbice squad for the eminent Senior four-day Inter County competition scheduled to start later this month.
The match, which has been sponsored by the Universal DVD Club of New Amsterdam and Canje, is scheduled to commence today and end on Thursday at the Albion ground.
The teams will be captained by two former West Indies players, Sewnarine Chattergoon and Devendra Bishoo.
The two squads:
Sewnarine Chattergoon (Captain), Anthony D’Andrade, Devon Clements, Seon Hetmyer, Jonathan Foo, Dominique Rikhi, Raphael Estriado, Kevin Ramdeen, Jason Sinclair,
Eon Hooper, Shawn Perreira, Gudakesh Motie, Brendon Bess, Romario Shepherd, Roun Johnson and Deveshwari Prashad.
Devendra Bishoo (Captain), Shimron Hetmyer, Kandasammy Surujnarine, Assad Fudadin, Eugene LaFleur, Rajiv Ivan, Sharaz Ramcharran, Artley Bailey, Joemal LaFleur, Anthony Bramble, Krishnadat Ramoo, Waqar Hassan, Keyron Fraser, Clinton Pestano, Keon Joseph and Nial Smith.
Game time each day is 10:00hrs.
