Nigel Cummings turned in a commendable performance to guide New Amsterdam Killers to victory in a feature Dominoes competition which was contested on Sunday last at Pouderoyen, West Bank Demerara.
Cummings, who was chosen as the Most Valuable Player, marked 11 games as his team rattled up 65 games to finish ahead of Mix Up with 60 and Turning Point 58.
Cummings received support from Dexter Ross who scored 10 games while Gilbert Mendonca and Mark Wiltshire marked 11 apiece for Mix Up. Turning Point’s leading players were Colin Mc Ewan and Godfrey Clavis with 11 and 10 games respectively.
NA Killers received $60,000 and a trophy while Mix Up collected $30,000 and a trophy and Turning Point $20,000. The competition was organised by Mark Wiltshire.
