Overdrive win Dominoes title in Wakenaam
Sterling performances by Ganeshram Narine, Andrew Osborne and Vickram Ramnarine guided Overdrive to victory in a feature Dominoes competition which was played on Sunday last at Amit Ramnarine bar in Good Success, Wakenaam.
After winning their respective preliminary round matches Overdrive, All star and Rebels contested the final. Narine, Osborne and Ramnarine powered their team to victory with 16 games each.
All star took the runner up spot with 77 games and Rebels ended in the cellar position with 56. Satnarine Singh made a maximum 18 games for All star while Nazeer Mohamed supported with 15; Khalid Zaman made a maximum 18 for Rebels.
Overdrive received a trophy and $10,000 for their efforts.
