The Second Annual Malta Supreme 11-race cycle programme sponsored by Banks DIH Ltd staged Saturday morning at the Inner Circuit of the National Park resulted in Alonzo Greaves emerging winner in the feature 35-lap School Boys and Invitational match-up in a time of 01:16:55. 44 seconds.

He was followed to the finish line by Godfrey Pollydore, Paul DeNobrega, Raynauth Jeffery and Hamzah Eastman in that order.
The day’s event was organised by National cycling Coach Hassan Mohamed and Greaves bettered the time of last year’s champion Robin Persaud, who won in a time of 01:18:30 seconds.
Only five riders finished the race which attracted 28 starters. The others were either lapped or pulled out during the race with Greaves (4), Pollydore (2), DeNobrega and Jeffrey one each, taking the prime point prizes.
