Wartsila’s Guyana Operation continued its long-term relationship with the now Boyce & Jefford Track and Field Classic IV yesterday when the energy company empowered the meet that will be held at Eve Leary and MSC Ground, Linden next weekend.

“This continues our many contributions to sports. We were with this project since its infancy and we are proud of what this (the meet) has become for track and field in Guyana. We will continue to support this great activity,” Fraser indicated.
As a former national athlete, Fraser reiterated his desire to see athletics return to its heyday, and that can only happen if both athletes and corporate community understand their respective roles, Fraser believes, adding that the meet can help athletes progress.
