Mother dies after delivering stillborn baby
A pregnant Luan Rodney, her husband Nigel, and their four year old daughter
Twenty-eight year-old Luan Rodney died yesterday at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) following the delivery of a stillborn baby.
The woman’s relatives have expressed concerns that negligence may have been responsible for the woman’s demise.
GPHC in a press release said that the woman of mixed race died at 07:50hrs yesterday, and that an investigation has been launched into the circumstances surrounding her demise.
