The National Assembly on Tuesday bade farewell to outgoing Deputy Clerk, Lilowatie Coonjah, who will proceed on pre-retirement leave tomorrow.
Coonjah has worked at the Parliament Building for 13 years, serving 44 years of service in the public sector. She will be proceeding on full retirement from June 1.

Prime Minister and Leader of the House, Samuel Hinds, Opposition Leader, David Granger and Leader of the AFC, Khemraj Ramjattan all expressed their gratitude and appreciation to Coonjah for her dedicated service to the National Assembly, and to the nation as a whole.
Meanwhile, the process of identifying a replacement has already commenced. (GINA)
