Marian Academy Secondary School Badminton tournament 2012 underway
The Marian Academy Secondary School Badminton Tournament started on Tuesday at the school’s badminton courts.
The Primary section of the school tournament was played off over the past two weeks.
Narayan Ramdhani and Jonathan Mangra advanced to the Boys Singles semifinals, while Meshonn Persaud and Angelica DaSilva reached the Girls quarterfinals.

Boys Singles Semifinals:
Narayan Ramdhani defeated Simon Joseph: 21-3
Jonathan Mangra defeated Nicholas Hickens: 21-6
Girls Singles First Round:
Alexa Williams defeated Kelly Brassington: 21-6
Aaliyah Rodrigues defeated Lanika Persaud: 21-13
Girls Singles Quarterfinals:
Meshonn Persaud defeated Krystal Peters: 21-10
Angelica DaSilva defeated Sophia Choo-Hen: 21-9
