Mark ‘Jumbie’ Wiltshire in honour of his 57th birthday will be hosting a massive
Dominoes Competition staring tomorrow at three venues and end on Saturday, January 14, at Transport Sports Club, Thomas Lands.
Matches will be played at the Dynasty Sport Bar, Meckle’s Shop at Leonora, Frankie’s Shop on the West Bank Demerara and contact could be made on Telephone#621-4185 and Lorna’s Place, Graham’s Street, Plaisance.
Entrance fee is $10,000 per team and the first prize is $150,000 and trophy, 2nd place-$75,000 and trophy, 3rd place- $40,000 and trophy and 4th place-$20,000.
Beat female player in the playoff will receive $3,000, while players of the finals will take away a similar amount.
There will feature matches involving Old Revolutionary, Old Dancing Braves and Old Saddam for a prize of $15,000.
Wild Bunch, Providence and Snake are also expected to square off in a feature clash. Starting time is 14:00 hrs and among the sponsors are GT&T, Wild Bunch and George Griffith.
