Several former national cricketers and other official were at the GCC to bid farewell to Calvin Belgrave.
Kaieteur Sports – Several former national cricketers graced the world famous GCC, Bourda to pay they respects to former national fast bowler Calvin Belgrave who passed away on March 2nd.
Belgrave represented Guyana with distinction and a number of his former colleagues and fellow players who would have seen him in action turned out to bid their final farewell.
Among those in attendance were: Roger Harper, Mark Harper, Huburn Carrington, Joseph Simpson, Claude St John, Neil Barry, Reon King, Gavin Nedd, Lennox Cush, Desmond Butts, Jermaine Neblette, Peter Persaud, Mark Ferreira, Alvin Lloyd, Trevor Wharton, Aboise Thomas, Paul Cave, Statistician Charwayne Walker, Bevaugh Butts, Victor Benjamin Georgetown Cricket Club President Don Singh and Sean Devers.
