From a Carpenter to a millionaire
After a hard day’s work, Lakram Deonarine, a carpenter from Mahaicony, 
East Coast Demerara, entered the Courts Main Street branch with a gloomy face only to find out he was the sixth winner of the Courts ongoing promotion, the Courts Vault.
Lakeram yesterday, chose vault #2 as his lucky vault and eventually walked away with $1.8M in “COLD HARD CASH”.
The winner who was accompanied by his wife and daughter emphasized how happy and overwhelmed he was, since he discovered that his life has instantly been transformed from a normal person into a millionaire.
The carpenter said that he bought a $100,000 gas stove and went away without thinking he might be a winner but when he revisited the furniture giant to pay his monthly installment on a computer he purchased before, he was approached by a manager who asked him “why you come in looking so sad? You were supposed to be jumping in here.”
The Courts Vault gives persons across Guyana who shop at Courts a lifetime opportunity to win up to $3M in instant cash.
The promotion would go for two more weeks. Last week Shermin Grimes from Linden walked away with that week’s top prize of $2M.
