Golfers battle for United Insurance title today
With a few weeks remaining before the end of the local golf season, players will Tee off in the United Insurance tournament today at Lusignan golf Club.
Another large turnout in anticipated in the tournament sponsored for the first time by United Insurance.
Expected to be featured on the course are Mohanlall Dinnanauth, Robert Hanoman, Hilbert Shields, Fazil Haniff, Rawle Moore, Andre Cummings, Jerome Khan, Ronald Bulkan, Bhowlaram Deo, Carlos Adams, Dr. John Ram Singh, Patrick Prashad, Esau Shamshudin, Christine Sukhram, Joaan Deo, William Walker, Maurice Solomon, Mike Gayadin, Munaff Arjune, Muntaz Haniff, Chatterpaul Deo, Troy Cadogan, Avinda Kishore, Mike Mangal, Colin Ming, Brian Hackett and Mark Lashley.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three players with the best net scores. There will also be prizes for Nearest to the Pin and Best gross.
Officials of United Insurance through its local office John Fernandes Insurance are expected to be on hand to present the prizes to the outstanding players.
