Jattan guides Young Warriors to 7-wicket win

A fine half century by left handed opener Muneshwar Jattan guided Young Warriors to an easy 7- seven wicket victory over Maryville as the Kishan Bacchus Construction Company/Leguan Cricket Committee Twenty20 cricket competition bowled off on Sunday last in Essequibo.
Set 144 for victory at the Enterprise Ground, Young Warriors achieved their target in 12 overs, losing three wickets as they ended on 146. Jattan smashed four sixes and two fours in his 55, while Steve Persaud supported well with 36.
Earlier, Maryville batted first and reached 143-8 when their overs expired. Paul Williams was their chief run getter with 48 (3×6 3×4), Oudit Narine claimed 3-22 for the winners.
