Gafoor’s replaces Cane Grove home
…in wake of storm
In July, 
a storm destroyed the house occupied by Sonia Calistro at Cane Grove, East Coast Demerara. At the time the woman had been living there with her five children.
The structure has since been rebuilt by Gafoor’s Group of Companies, through its Vulnerable Persons Foundation.
Gafoors Director, Ameena Gafoor, said, “We recognize that there are people out there who are really struggling and we try to give a helping hand to keep the family unit together, especially where there are infants and young children who should be in school.”.
