Dear Editor
We have witnessed several outbursts from President Jagdeo whom many feel is not befitting of a leader of any country. Still, I feel that we should empathize with him or at least show some sort of sympathetic understanding for he has every right to blow his mind if ever we have a basic understanding of the ground from which he speaks,
A study of psychology indicates that an individual’s mental advancement does not always keep pace with his chronological age. For this simple reason, big men behave like children, ‘big up’ or simply knock down others in order to reach their goals or targets. This is certainly an explanation for the President’s behaviour. Or alternatively, is this his swan dance as President of Guyana.
Whatever it is, just leave the man alone. After all, he provides exceptional entertainment with his regular busing, and can make for a good study by psychology students.
