Dear Editor,
It was heartening to read in the media that the MV Barima would be brought to the surface. There is the urgent request for physical recovery of this cargo ship that has gone underwater. We know for certain that the ship went under but all the pertinent facts or supposed mysteries surrounding its sinking is yet to be unearthed; we want to know, we have every right to know. A country, the entire world await the salvaging of the MV Barima,, because herein lies the true circumstances as to what actually took place that fateful night.
That ship has to be brought to the surface for a thorough inspection, every square inch of it, in order for us to come to an educated conclusion to this tragic event.
Like the Adrianna Case we need closure to this issue and nothing can bring closure than the sunken ship being drydocked and fully inspected. No COI can be complete without this ship being raised. Like the Adrianna case, when political hype was at its highest surrounding the possible cause of her death, closure only came when those three international pathologists came, inspected the body and gave their scientific analysis of the cause of death. In like manner closure to this national tragedy can only be solved when a thorough inspection of that craft is done. We must get to the very bottom of this matter. I rest my case.
Respectfully Submitted
Neil Adams
