Battle lines drawn in VVR Schools’ Championships

The battle lines have been drawn in the Victory Valley Royals Schools Basketball Championship with the emergence of the dates for the semi-final and final of the event.
Kaieteur Sport understands that the semi-final of the event will be on Monday at Mackenzie High School’s (MHS) Basketball Court with the Grande Finale set for next Wednesday.
Linden’s Technical Institute will play Christianburg Wismar Secondary in the first semi, while an interesting battle loom in the second semi with MHS against New Silvercity Secondary.
The annual schools’ basketball tournament had reached the semi-final stage before it was paused for refurbishing works at the Mackenzie Sports Club Court to commence.
Those works have been completed, but still the MSC Court is in an unplayable condition. Royals had awaited the completion of the court for more than six weeks running.
