Belladrum, NOC, Kwakwani, Dora and Skeldon all win
The Digicel-sponsored Nationwide Schools Football Tournament opened in various Regions on Wednesday and among the winners were Belladrum, New Opportunity Corp, Kwakwani, Dora and Skeldon.
In full results: Region # 5 – Belladrum defeated Mahaicony 5-0. On target for the winners was Ozase Halley, who netted four goals in the 8, 31, 38 and 64 minute, while Josuah Fraser added the other in the 28th.
Region # 2 – Aurora Secondary were clobbered by the New Opportunity Corp 9-1.
No goal scorers were available. Abram Zuil won on penalty kicks against Johanna
Region 10 – Kwakwani Secondary hammered Howell Wilson Secondary 12-0.
The goal scorers were Ivor Williams 1st, 7th, 24th, Lancelot Pupin 16th, 51st, Earl Rogers 21st, 46th, Ted Rogers 38th, 43rd, Shamer Viveriow 3rd, Trevin Gonzales 42nd and Josh Pravomton 53rd.
Region # 4 Camille lost to Dora Secondary 4-0.
Jossari Gordon netted in the 54th, 57th, Robert Watts 21st and Odion Yansen – 69th.
Region # 6 Skeldon Secondary beat Memorial 4-0.
Staffon Hope scored in the 39th, 45th and Dexter Lewis 49th, 53rd.
