When people put big people thing in li’l boy hand expect trouble. Old people also seh that a li’l bit of information in the hands of a fool is a dangerous thing.
De government wake up couple weeks ago and decide to announce national awards. Was a good thing because fuh nine years dem was mekking up de list. Some of de people dead before dem coulda complete de list. Anyhow, dem give one dead woman and if she was alive she certainly deserve it.
But is de way dem li’l boy treat de information. Dem get de list and dem had to release it to all de media. Kwame had to see that de list go out.
Like how some children does try fuh play important he keep de list from de Waterfalls paper. If he did get an award he would mek sure de Waterfalls paper get de list. Poor child. All de wuk he do and he get nutten, not even a thank you.
Dem boys seh that is shame he shame. But is Sam. He had to get de highest order because he tell reporters de other day that twenty per cent of Guyanese does thief. He claim how one in every five Guyanese does thief electricity and some of dem is big ones.
De thing is that Sam telling de whole world that Guyanese is thieves and when dem same Guyanese go overseas and get bad treatment at de airport, de same government does complain.
Anyhow Bar-Rat decide that he, Sam, had to get a national award fuh highlighting de level of crime.
Henry de Yellow get one too. Dem boys seh that he do better than Laurie Lewis. De talk now change from who got luck eat pork. Dem boys know fuh sure that who got luck get national award.
Talk half. Lef half.
