(Kaieteur News) – A US-based security officer was nabbed with foreign cannabis at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport on Wednesday, the Customs-Anti-Narcotics Unit said.
According to CANU on Wednesday officers, acting on information received, searched one incoming passenger from the United States of America, which led to the discovery of several transparent parcels containing a quantity of foreign cannabis. The quantity of foreign cannabis was subsequently escorted to CANU’s Headquarters, which weighed 15. 758 kilograms. Bradley Hibbert, age thirty-six (36), a Security Officer of Lot 759 Hendrix Street, Brooklyn, New York, USA, was arrested and escorted to CANU’s Headquarters.
