Selection of presidential candidates
DEAR EDITOR,
A highpoint to the prelude of this year’s election is the selection of a suitable prospective candidate by each political party.
I hope that the suspense as it regards the nominee by the People’s Progressive Party (PPP) is cut by presidential hopeful Donald Ramotar.
Mr. Ramotar has displayed excellent leadership, altruistic character and people skills as he has dedicated his entire life towards the successful functioning of the PPP and the people of Guyana.
Mr. Ramotar’s lengthy employment as the general secretary of the dominant political party also augurs well to cement noteworthy credentials that are an admirable addition towards his extensive portfolio of political experience and expertise.
