Chintamanie is new Leguan Cricket Committee head
Verendra Chintamanie was elected Chairman of the Leguan Cricket Committee when the body held its Annual General meeting recently at the Leguan Secondary School.
Jainarine Nandram is the vice chairman while Shanty Nandram was elected Secretary. The Treasurer is Mustapha Zaman and Seeram Jattan is the Assistant Secretary Treasurer.
The Treasurer, Zaman, said that the new executive will work towards the development of cricket on the island and will focus more on the youngsters and is calling on the business community for support.
He also told Kaieteur sport that they are looking forward to the next cricket season and stressed about coaching on the island.
