Dear Sir,
If Guyana has any intention of getting better in the future drastic changes will have to be made in the management of the sport. We need to replace some of the present cricket authorities.
It seems as though some people hold a lifelong right on cricket in this country. What the Guyana cricket board needs are some new administrators in Guyana to guide all regions and national cricket forward.
Some of the GCBC officials should resign since they are doing nothing to improve Guyana’s cricket other than taking up space in the top executive positions. If we want cricket to move forward we should fill most of the crucial positions with lively and energetic people who has fresh views and are genuinely interested in the development of the sport.
Too many of these positions are filled with old people devoid of fresh ideas who play politics with each other. This affects the development of the sport Victor W C Benjamin
